It's Max!"I kind of fell into this thing called LIVER, it wasn't like I set out to be a loudmouth jackass saying and singing lewd shit,... I was doing that anyway. LIVER at least gave me a crutch."

In 1987 Max was goofing around with Claudio doing LIVER stuff but nothing serious. He was friends with a few guys in this band called MINX that performed in Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia. In what would be called a "Hair-band" today. Minx had a pretty good following and some very dedicated fans. Their popularity got them involved with famed producer Tony Bongiovi who co-owned the Powerstation in New York as well as the Sea Port Village Pier in their hometown of Wildwood, NJ. The Minx manager at the time Bill Peirgiovanni was contacted by Tony and asked if the band would rent their gear to the pier and the The Rascals who were performing for the opening night of the pier and for the first time in 15 years. Tony also asked if Minx would perform. Problem was the original Minx vocalist was no where to be found so Max got the call. Having never performed in front of an audience or played with the band, the evening saw 250 Minx fans as well as a fair amount of tourists and Rascals fans on their pier. It was a smashing success which lead to several more shows and Minx recording at the Powerstation. Sadly tho success corrupted the group and with in a years time, Minx was no more. Max however had LIVER.

""t's funny. Minx was AWESOME, the experience and the thrill were off the charts... we weren't good musicians, I'm far from a vocalist, but we were in the right place at the right time. It didn't matter, the energy we had made us good. We lost that when everyone started thinking we made it. It started to feel like work. That made me appreciate LIVER even more. I have had more fun with LIVER over the years, and been more creative than I would have ever been in Minx. We never cared about anything other than having fun and making each other laugh. LIVER was NEVER for anyone other than for us, for Wolfen, Claudio, Myself and our small group of friends. The whole Minx experience opened my eyes to the professional world. Tony himself was the one that pointed me to Full Sail and to get an education. He was a mentor and honest. He told me point blank we stunk - but to capitalize on that and we did, just as LIVER. Our goal was to make the music simple yet catchy, to offend the greatest number of people to get attention, and to always remember who we are and never forget that fame is fleeting. Holding on to fame 20 years takes alot of effort but we've been mediocre Z-listers for a while and it takes minimal effort and we STILL have fun doing this crap"

Along with LIVER Max also has become an art director/new media director, a web developer ( this site for example ) also a SEO ( search engine optimization expert, online marketing/branding consultant, video editor, published author, small business owner, and Pug wrangler in the mountains of Colorado.

"We thought that after all these years, and all this fun we should have a web page - an online museum of sorts to share and give back to our fans and friends and meet new ones, and show off the topless ones with the happy bouncy mammalian protuberances. YAY for them!"

The future is unclear for LIVER. When they started out the topics of their songs, their style of music, their whole gimmick was unheard of - and if heard subject to ridicule and scorn. Now it's almost common place. One glance at the supermarket check out line magazine rack, Any radio station, even TMZ and your eyes and ears are full of Loud Irritating Vulgar and Extremely Rude stuff from no talent celebrities, so-called musicians, and washed up actors and thespians.

At least LIVER meant to do it and still does it.
